Gabriel is a Managing Director at FGO Finance Group, bringing a unique perspective shaped by almost a decade in New York and Silicon Valley.
Before co-founding FGO, Gabriel served as General Manager of Uber's US and Canada Financial Services business, where he led strategy, partnerships, and product development for one of the world's largest gig economy platforms. Prior to Uber, he held roles across financial services and technology, gaining first-hand experience in how capital markets, lending, and business operations intersect.
Gabriel chose to bring this experience closer to home, returning to Australia to help businesses and individuals access smarter, more tailored financing. At FGO, he specialises in business acquisition finance, ETA (Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition), commercial lending, and equipment finance. His background gives him a deep understanding of business models, financial structuring, and the operational realities of running a business - which translates directly into how he approaches deal structuring for clients.
Gabriel is particularly passionate about the growing ETA and search fund ecosystem in Australia. Having seen first-hand how search funds and acquisition entrepreneurship transformed business ownership in the US, he's actively involved in supporting Australia's ETA community - connecting acquirers with the right financing, advising on deal structures, and helping first-time buyers navigate the complexities of acquisition finance.
Whether it's a $300K small business purchase or a $15M commercial property deal, Gabriel brings the same analytical rigour and commercial perspective to every engagement. His clients value his ability to cut through complexity and provide clear, actionable advice.
Whether you're acquiring a business, financing commercial property, or need asset finance, Gabriel can help structure the right deal.
